Michael L. Jones was a 2014 candidate for the Scioto County Court of Common Pleas in Portsmouth, Ohio.[1]

Jones ran for election to the Scioto County Court of Common Pleas.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 45.9 percent of the vote. He competed against incumbent Judge William T. Marshall.

Education
Jones received his undergraduate degree from Capital University in 1991 and his J.D. degree from the Capital University Law School in 1994.[2]
Career
Jones serves as a magistrate for the Scioto County Domestic Relations Court. He also previously served as a solicitor for the City of Portsmouth, Ohio, practiced law with the firm of Baran, Piper, Tarkowski, Fitzgerald and Theis from 1999 to 2007, and served as a judge advocate general in the United States Navy.[2][3]
