Michael L. Murphy was the chief judge of the Tallapoosa Circuit of Georgia.[1] Murphy was first elected as a judge in 2000 and remained in office until he retired October 31, 2018.[2][3][4]
Murphy served as chief judge from 2002 to 2018.[3]
Education
Murphy received his undergraduate degree from West Georgia College and his J.D. degree from the University of Georgia.[5]
2012 election
Murphy ran unopposed for re-election to the Tallapoosa Superior Court.[6] He was re-elected after receiving 98.9% of the vote in the July 31 election.[2]
