Top Priorities Reproductive Care Granite Staters deserve the freedom and privacy necessary for effective medical care. But extremists in Concord have been rolling back the clock on reproductive rights, attempting to ban abortion and working to dismantle access to family planning resources and healthcare. I will always stand up against attempts to limit access to reproductive care. Affordable Housing It's time to build. We need more and new types of housing to support New Hampshire's changing population. The housing crisis is acute, impacting all aspects of our lives. Hospitals can't house nurses. Retirees can't downsize. Young people can't afford to stay. And families can't realize the American Dream. We need to move faster. Public Education The success of our public schools is critical for the success of New Hampshire. I will work to properly fund public schools, ensure students have the tools to succeed, hold the Education Commissioner accountable, fight contracts that privatize our public schools, and stand up against Board of Education nominees that aim to dismantle public education. Modern Transportation One of the prime responsibilities of the Council is stewarding the state’s 10 year transportation and infrastructure plan. Modernizing our communities’ infrastructure, ensuring the quality of our bridges and roads, is critical to guarantee the safety of Granite Staters and an opportunity to create well paying jobs. I will work on the Council to ensure the communities of District 2 get their projects prioritized. Green Abundance Recent technological advancements have transformed energy production, showing Granite Staters that we don't have to choose between low prices or clean energy, abundance or health, and growth or sustainability. To fast-track New Hampshire towards a sustainable future, we need leaders who grasp the significance of this shift. Working Families As a business leader, I know if employees are worried about making ends meet they can't be effective in their jobs. Our police, firefighters, nurses, and tradespeople shouldn't have to think about how to pay the bills or get childcare while they protect our homes, provide medical care, and build our roads. On the Council, I will always work to ensure approved contracts are fair because that’s what gets our citizens the best results.[2] |
