Michael Magdich was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 8th Congressional District of Michigan.

Magdich graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1990. He earned his M.A. from the University of Essex in Japanese Studies in 1993. Since then, he has worked for Sakae Riken Kogyo, the Eakas Corporation, Siegel-Robert, Inc., and Guardian Automotive.[1]

Magdich was running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Michigan's 8th District. He would have faced Lance Enderle in the Democratic primary. Republican incumbent Mike Rogers faces primary challenges from Vernon Molnar and Brian Hetrick.

While Magdich initially appeared on the official candidate list, he was later disqualified.[2]
