Michael Marcello
Michael J. Marcello (b. May 30, 1968) is a former Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 41 from 2009 to 2017.
Marcello served as a Councilmember for the Town of Scituate from 1996 to 1998 and again from 2000 to 2008. In 2006, he was a candidate for the Rhode Island House of Representatives but was not elected.
Biography
Marcello earned his B.A. in Government from Colby College in 1990 and his J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law in 1994. His professional experience includes working as an attorney and as a Partner of Morrison Mahoney, Limited Liability Partnership since 1996.[1]

The candidate filing deadline was June 29, 2016.
Robert Quattrocchi defeated incumbent Michael Marcello in the Rhode Island House of Representatives District 41 general election.[2][3]

2014
Elections for the Rhode Island House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 25, 2014. Incumbent Michael Marcello was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Lillian Delmonico was unopposed in the Republican primary. Robert Quattrocchi ran as an independent candidate. Frederick Ferri (I) was removed from the ballot before the primary. Marcello defeated Delmonico and Quattrocchi in the general election.[6][7][8]
2012
Marcello won re-election in the 2012 election for Rhode Island House of Representatives District 41. Marcello was unopposed in the September 11 Democratic primary and defeated Marco Lucci (R) and Lee Grossguth (I) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[9][10][11]
2010
Marcello won re-election to the 41st District seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary and defeated Republican Marco Lucci in the general election on November 2, 2010.[12][13]

2008
In 2008, Marcello was elected to the Rhode Island House District 41. Marcello (D) finished with 4,285 votes while his opponent Christopher Caluori (R) finished wit h3,614 votes.[14] Marcello raised $24,101 for his campaign fund.[15]
