Michael McCarthy (New Jersey)
Michael McCarthy was a 2011 Democratic candidate for District 39 of the New Jersey General Assembly. McCarthy was previously a candidate for District 39 in 2009.

McCarthy was a candidate for the 2011 Democratic Party nomination for District 39 of the New Jersey General Assembly. He was defeated in the November 8 general election. McCarthy was bracketed with Anthony Iannarelli, Jr. in the June 7 primary.[1]Both were removed from the ballot in April, but both got back on the ballot after winning the nomination through write-in votes. They face Holly Schepisi (R), Robert Schroeder (R), Clinton Bosca (I) in the November 8 general election.[2][3]
