Noteworthy events
Arrest for driving under the influence (2023)
On June 5, 2023, McLendon was arrested in Baldwin County, Alabama. He was charged by the Baldwin County Sheriffs Department with driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance.[1][2] He was released the same day on a bond of $2,500. McLendon is scheduled to appear in court on October 25, 2023.[1]
As of June 28, 2023, Ballotpedia staff could not identify a statement from Michael McLendon in response to his arrest.
