Michael McMaken
Michael McMaken was a district court judge for the Mobile County District Court in Mobile County, Alabama.[1] He was elected to the court in 1986 and retired on October 1, 2012.[2] On September 7, 2014, McMaken passed away after a long battle with leukemia.[3]
Education
McMaken received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his J.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.[3]
Career
Before he became a judge, McMaken served as a prosecutor for both Mobile and Tuscaloosa counties.[3]
2010 election
McMaken was re-elected to the Mobile County District Court after running unopposed.[4]
