My life has always involved service. It all began growing up in the church, learning the principles of loving your neighbor and serving them.
I earned the Eagle Scout Award with the Boy Scouts of America, served in the Georgia Army National Guard as a military police officer, was a civilian police officer in Fulton County, and continued my public safety career, with over 14 years, as an executive with the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice.
Mableton is home, and I am a proud community leader. I have served on multiple committees and boards, such as Mableton Improvement Coalition, WellStar Regional Hospital, Cobb Collaborative, Cobb SPLOST Oversight, and Cobb Board of Education Oversight.
An essential part of engagement involves bringing people together for a common cause. I have done so through public speaking, organizing, and moderating various initiatives. Among them, I have served as political action chair for the local chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and as the co-founder of Mableton Men Vote.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Georgia Southern University, and as a lifelong learner, I am also a graduate of Leadership Cobb and Cobb 101 Citizens Government Academy.
- Smart Redevelopment — building sustainable community infrastructure through partnerships with public and private stakeholders.
- Fiscal Responsibility & Transparency — ensuring taxpayer funds are used wisely and openly.
- Enhanced Public Safety — strengthening trust through community policing and open communication.
Youth Education Initiatives — collaborating with schools and organizations to improve outcomes for local students.
Veterans & Seniors — expanding critical resources and services.
Honesty, integrity, and commitment.
Voters need a strong and committed leader from the community who has fundamental knowledge and experience of how government works at every level, has established relationships among elected officials, county and city staff, business owners, and non-profit interests, and someone who is solution-oriented with clear solutions in mind.
I look up to my father. He loves God, his family, his country, and his local community. He has always been a man of ideas and the determination to bring those ideas to life. I want to continue to follow in those footsteps.
