I earned the Eagle Scout Award with the Boy Scouts of America, served in the Georgia Army National Guard as a military police officer, was a civilian police officer in Fulton County, and continued my public safety career, with over 14 years, as an executive with the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice.
Mableton is home, and I am a proud community leader. I have served on multiple committees and boards, such as Mableton Improvement Coalition, WellStar Regional Hospital, Cobb Collaborative, Cobb SPLOST Oversight, and Cobb Board of Education Oversight.
An essential part of engagement involves bringing people together for a common cause. I have done so through public speaking, organizing, and moderating various initiatives. Among them, I have served as political action chair for the local chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and as the co-founder of Mableton Men Vote.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Georgia Southern University, and as a lifelong learner, I am also a graduate of Leadership Cobb and Cobb 101 Citizens Government Academy.- Smart Redevelopment — building sustainable community infrastructure through partnerships with public and private stakeholders.
