Michael Minnick
Michael Minnick was a member of the Sacramento City Unified School District school board in California, representing Trustee Area 4. Minnick assumed office in 2016. Minnick left office on December 11, 2020.
Minnick ran for re-election to the Sacramento City Unified School District school board to represent Trustee Area 4 in California. Minnick won in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Four of the seven seats on the Sacramento City Unified School District Board of Education were supposed to be up for by-district general election on November 8, 2016. The election was canceled, however, due to lack of opposition. Incumbent Christina Pritchett, newcomer Michael Minnick, newcomer Mai Vang, and incumbent Jessie Ryan were the only candidates to file for the Area 3, 4, 5, and 7 seats, respectively. Because of this, they were elected to the board by default.[1]

This race was canceled due to lack of opposition. Newcomer Michael Minnick won election to the board by default.[1]
Endorsements
Minnick was endorsed by the community organization Evolve and CCSA Advocates.[2][3]
