Michael Moore was a 2015 candidate for District 7 of the Memphis City Council in Tennessee. The general election took place on October 8, 2015.
Biography
Moore graduated from Douglass High School in 1980. He went on to earn a degree in music business and management from the University of Memphis. He is the founder and CMO of Moorementum, an agency that handles marketing, media and management.[1]

The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was July 17, 2015.[2] In the District 7 race, incumbent Berlin Boyd faced Anthony Anderson, Eric Dunn, Anthony Ambee Johnson, Alfonzo Durell Lee, Michael Moore, Coby V. Smith, Thurston Smith and David W. Vinciarelli in the general election on October 8, 2015.[3] A runoff between Anderson and Boyd took place on November 19, 2015.[4]
