I have been an Arizona resident for more than 45 years. I love this state and I want to give something back. We need responsive committed leadership in our legislature from real citizens who actually represent the people, not career politicians. My background includes almost 30 years as an Arizona Realtor. I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors for the Phoenix Realtors, and I am working to help and contribute to the betterment of our industry. My education includes college degrees in Communication and Law Enforcement. I have had various jobs related to my education including service in the military. In addition to that, I have started and managed several small businesses in Arizona over the years, so I understand how difficult it is for small business owners to get health insurance for themselves and their families first-hand. I have raised some amazing children here in our great state. My youngest child is in high school now. I want to do my part to make Arizona as good as it can be for them and my grandchildren.
  • We need to drastically improve funding for public education. Arizona has been last or in the bottom 5 for decades in funding per pupil in the nation and it's a disgrace! We have allowed politicians to shirk their most basic responsibility to take care of funding our public education system for our children.
  • We need to drastically improve funding for public mental health system. Again, we are nearly last in the nation for funding this vital area. We have one of the largest homeless encampments in the country 3 blocks from our state's capitol! Our prisons are full of mentally ill people because we do not have enough recourses to get them the help they need. If we had the resources to address their mental illness, many could be happy healthy contributing members of society instead of being a financial burden on the tax payors.
  • I am going to fight to protect our freedom to vote. Our voting rights are under attack under the guise of voter integrity. Historically, when voting is made more difficult through voter suppression laws and tactics, it harms the low-income families and people of color the most. If you are a low-income single mom with 3 kids and you work 11 to 8, it would be difficult to get the poles on time without missing work that you can't afford to miss. You take that example and multiply it by the thousands of families who fit that scenario, and you have a large chunk of the population who don't get to vote and make their voices heard. Voting should be made as accessible as possible to as many possible so the true will of the people will be reflected.
We need to eliminate the gasoline tax. Arizona families are struggling right now and need help. For the most part, we all need gas to get around and pick up our children from school, go to work, go grocery shopping, etc. It is a necessity, and the cost of gas is at record highs at a time where we can least afford it with Covid and record high inflation.

The money to fund road maintenance and other important issues in Arizona should be coming from Arizona corporations paying their fair share of income taxes. It is unbelievable that 73% of Arizona Corporations pay the minimum $50 per year in income taxes according to a study done by the Arizona Center for Economic Progress. It's just not fair!

We have legislatures who are putting the interests of corporations ahead of people. Corporations lobby and donate to politicians that allow them not to contribute their fair share in taxes.

It is time we elect real people, not career politicians, who will fight for the people and do the right thing!
