On November 4, 2008, Mulrooney won re-election to the Delaware House of Representatives from Delaware's 17th District. Mulrooney received 6,981 votes in the election, defeating David Osborn (R), who received 1,388 votes.[11] Mulrooney raised $59,653 for his campaign; Osborn raised $3,016.[12]
