Michael Nolan
Michael Nolan was a judge for the 60th District Court in Muskegon County, Michigan.[1][2] He was appointed to the court by former Governor John Engler in November 1996 and his current term was set to expire on January 1, 2019.[3] However, Nolan retired from the court before the end of his term on May 31, 2014.[4]
Education
Nolan received his undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University in 1976 and his J.D. from the Detroit College of Law in 1989.[3]
Career
Nolan began his judicial career as a pre-hearing attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals. Next, he went into private practice with the law firm of Potuznik, Spaniola, Wilson, Hermanson & Nolan. In 1990, Nolan became a partner with Nolan & Nolan, where he worked until joining the 60th District Court in 1996.[3]

2012 election
Nolan was re-elected to the 60th District Court after running unopposed in 2012.[5][6]
