I am running for Congress as an open minded, moderate, independent with centrist political views and common sense values. I will be on the Serve America SAM Party line Row H on the ballot. I was born and raised in Rockland County, went to Suffern High School where I was an Eagle Scout, and a four time Rockland County Wrestling Champion. I attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and was captain of the NCAA wrestling team. Upon graduation i was commissioned a 2nd Lt. of Infantry. I served as a platoon leader and company executive officer in the 10th Mountain Division and was Airborne Ranger qualified.

Following my military service I had a career in the Pharmaceutical Industry as a Managed Care Specialist and a sales representative and earned a Masters in Biotechnology from Penn State University. I've been a member of the Rockland County Planning Board for the past six years, consistently voting against applications that do not conform closely to the zoning code. I am now the primary care giver for my elderly mother which is the most challenging and rewarding assignment I have ever had.

For nearly two decades I've worked relentlessly to organize the Preserve vote, which acts as a counterweight to the Chassidic Bloc vote in Rockland County, The Preserve movement is a diverse coalition of people from all walks of life that have put aside their differences to unite their vote behind candidates who will act in the best interest of the greater good.

  • Local corruption and national dysfunction are the primary reasons I am running for Congress. I will spread awareness in Washington about the issues that impact our quality of life so acutely here in the lower Hudson valley and will talk about the dangers posed to a free society when we allow radical religion to run amok with impunity. I will work towards the creation of a centrist caucus of moderate lawmakers who will work together pass legislation that will address our local concerns as well as temper extreme impulses from either end of the political spectrum.
  • I am only accepting donations from private citizens that live in the 17th congressional district and I am not accepting donations from political action committees or any other groups of any kind. This will ensure that I can go down to Congress and vote in the best interest of the 17th district without any influence from special interests or political operatives on the right or left.
  • If elected I will not caucus or align myself with either major party, but will commit myself to a problem solving process whereby I seek input and insight from every perspective before working carefully to craft balanced, common sense legislation that will move our communities and our country forward.
Campaign Finance Reform, Curriculum Equivalency between public schools and private schools, Reform of eligibility requirements for Social Benefits Programs, Reform of RLUIPA or the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act. Ward System Voting for School Boards and Local Municipalities. Natural Resources Preservation and use of Public Lands. Immigration Reform. CEO Compensation Reform. Federal Legislation to require that Public Works projects that receive federal dollars must include meaningful public participation in the naming process of such projects. Carbon Tax on emissions and a plan to gradually transition to emerging sustainable green technology as they mature. A Public Option for Health Care and or Universal Catastrophic Coverage.
The creation of a moderate caucus in the United States Congress that will unite the middle 60% of the electorate and temper extremist impulse from the far right and far left.
I have helped wage a long running battle against pernicious corrosive corruption on the local level.
