|Following my military service I had a career in the Pharmaceutical Industry as a Managed Care Specialist and a sales representative and earned a Masters in Biotechnology from Penn State University. I've been a member of the Rockland County Planning Board for the past six years, consistently voting against applications that do not conform closely to the zoning code. I am now the primary care giver for my elderly mother which is the most challenging and rewarding assignment I have ever had.
For nearly two decades I've worked relentlessly to organize the Preserve vote, which acts as a counterweight to the Chassidic Bloc vote in Rockland County, The Preserve movement is a diverse coalition of people from all walks of life that have put aside their differences to unite their vote behind candidates who will act in the best interest of the greater good.
- Local corruption and national dysfunction are the primary reasons I am running for Congress. I will spread awareness in Washington about the issues that impact our quality of life so acutely here in the lower Hudson valley and will talk about the dangers posed to a free society when we allow radical religion to run amok with impunity. I will work towards the creation of a centrist caucus of moderate lawmakers who will work together pass legislation that will address our local concerns as well as temper extreme impulses from either end of the political spectrum.
- I am only accepting donations from private citizens that live in the 17th congressional district and I am not accepting donations from political action committees or any other groups of any kind. This will ensure that I can go down to Congress and vote in the best interest of the 17th district without any influence from special interests or political operatives on the right or left.
- If elected I will not caucus or align myself with either major party, but will commit myself to a problem solving process whereby I seek input and insight from every perspective before working carefully to craft balanced, common sense legislation that will move our communities and our country forward.
