Michael Pietruszka
Michael F. Pietruszka was a judge for the Erie County Court in New York. He served in this position from 1999, following his election, to 2018.[1]
Education
Pietruszka received his B.A. degree from Canisius College in 1978 and his J.D. degree from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1981.[1]
Career
Pietruszka began his career in 1982 as a self-employed private practice lawyer. He worked in that capacity through 1987. He also worked as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Buffalo Law Department from 1983 to 1986, as the Director of the Buffalo Division of Parking Enforcement from 1986 to 1987, and as General Counsel for the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority in 1987. In 1988, he was appointed to the Buffalo City Court. He then joined the Erie County Court in 1999.[1]
