Michael Pritchett is the presiding judge for the 36th Circuit Court of Missouri. He was elected to this position on November 2, 2010.[1][2]

He was re-elected to the 36th Judicial Circuit Court in 2014 for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[3]

Pritchett ran for re-election to the 36th Judicial Circuit Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on August 5, 2014.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [3][4] 

2010

Pritchett received 52.1% of the vote in the Republican primary and defeated incumbent Robert L. Smith with 63.7% of the vote in the general election. He was elected to the 36th Circuit Court.[2]

Education

Pritchett received his undergraduate degree from Drury University in 1976 and his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 1980.[5]

Career

Before his judgeship, Pritchett had been in private practice since graduating from law school. He also served as a city attorney in Poplar Bluff and as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Butler County.[6]
