Clancy ran for re-election for the 11th Subcircuit judge of the Cook County Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Michael R. Clancy received his undergraduate degree (History/Political Science major, Economics minor) from the University of Iowa. He then earned his J.D. degree from the University of Illinois in 1989.[1]
Clancy's career experience includes the following:

- 2002-2011 Attorney in private practice (self-employed)
- 1990-2002 Assistant State's Attorney, Cook County
- 1989 Attorney in private practice[1]
