White ran for election to the Orphans Court of St. Mary’s County.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 31.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Albert Babcock and incumbent Judge Dalton Wood. All 3 candidates ran unopposed in the primary. 
General: He faced Albert Babcock, and incumbent judges, Linda Dean, William Miles Mattingly, and Dalton Wood in the general election on November 4, 2014, and won with 19.5 percent of the vote. Candidates competed for three open seats. [2][3]
