Michael R. Zalewski (Chicago Alderman)
Michael Zalewski was a member of the Chicago City Council in the state of Illinois, representing Ward 23 from 1995 to 2018. Zalewski resigned on May 31, 2018.[1]
In 2009, the Chicago City Council elected Zalewski to serve as President Pro Tempore.[2]

2015
The city of Chicago, Illinois, held elections for city council on February 24, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was November 24, 2014.[3] In the general election for Ward 23, incumbent Michael R. Zalewski defeated Martin Arteaga, and Anna Goral. Paulino R. Villarreal, Jr. was removed from the ballot in December 2014. Charles M. Hughes was removed from the ballot in January 2015.[4][5]
