Michael Reed (b. May 22, 1946) was a 2014 Republican candidate for Hillsborough 33 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives.

He is a former Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 26 from 2010 to 2012.

Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Efstathia Booras, incumbent Kenneth Gidge and Lee Guerette were unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Michael Reed, Troy Saunders and Ron Simoneau were unopposed in the Republican primary. Booras, Gidge, Guerette, Reed, Saunders and Simoneau faced off in the general election.[1] Incumbent Booras, incumbent Gidge, and Guerette defeated Reed, Saunders, and Simoneau in the general election.[2]

Reed ran for re-election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Hillsborough 35. Reed advanced past the September 11 primary and was defeated in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
