Michael Scuse
Michael Scuse was the Delaware Secretary of Agriculture. Scuse assumed office on January 25, 2017. Scuse left office on January 7, 2025.
Biography
Scuse previously served in multiple positions with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, including as acting U.S. secretary of agriculture, acting deputy secretary of agriculture, and under secretary for farm and foreign agricultural services.[1]
Political career
Delaware Secretary of Agriculture (2001-2008; 2017-2025)
Scuse served as Delaware secretary of agriculture from 2001 to 2008. Governor John Carney Jr. (D) nominated Scuse to reassume the position on January 13, 2017. He was confirmed by the Delaware State Senate on January 25, 2017.[1]
