Michael Starr Hopkins was a 2018 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. Senate from New Jersey.[1] He withdrew in March 2018.[2]

In November 2018, Hopkins was named national press secretary for John Delaney's 2020 presidential campaign.[3]
