I am running to serve and give back to the community that has done so much for me. I will build on Representative Gunther's example of strong leadership in the Capitol. I feel blessed to have been born and raised with my two brothers and two sisters on a farm south of Fairmont where my family's roots run deep. My mother's family purchased their land in East Chain Township in 1909, and my father's family purchased their land in Silver Lake Township in 1888 after laboring in the coal mines near Chicago, Illinois.

After college, I returned to District 23A to work and continue farming in Martin and Faribault counties with my family. I bought a home in Fairmont and began a career at AGCO in Jackson, Minn., working on the Challenger tractor line. After several fulfilling years with AGCO, I took advantage of another opportunity to join Harsco Rail in Fairmont, Minn., to design rail and track maintenance equipment. In 2019, I earned the status of a licensed Professional Engineer by completing the licensing exams.

I have had the opportunity to get involved in the community volunteering for the Soybean Growers Associations, Corn Growers Associations, United States Soybean Export Council and became a director for Martin County Farm Bureau.
  • Supporting the rural economy, promoting agriculture, and defending agriculture from governmental overreach
  • Pushing back against over-taxation and the runaway spending of our state's government and putting more money back into the pockets of hard-working Minnesotans instead of the state's coffers
  • Supporting and defending the 2nd Amendment
I am running to serve and give back to the community that has done so much for me. I will build on Representative Gunther's example of strong leadership in the Capitol. I will be an unwavering advocate for the citizens of District 23A and will back legislative solutions that support the prosperity and well-being of our community.
