Michael T. Caldwell is a former judge of the Twenty-Second Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois.[1] He was first elected to the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit in 2002, where he served until 2006 when the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit split to form the new Twenty-Second Judicial Circuit.[2][3] Caldwell served on the Twenty-Second Judicial Circuit Court as a circuit judge from 2006 to 2017.[4][5]

Caldwell was retained to the Twenty-Second Judicial Circuit Court with 77.9 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [6] 

Evaluations

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Michael T. Caldwell as Recommended for retention in a 2014 poll.[7]

Education

Caldwell graduated from Saint Mary High School in Woodstock, Illinois in 1957. He earned an undergraduate degree from Loyola University in 1960, and in 1963 obtained his J.D. from the Loyola University School of Law.[8][9][10]
