Michael Tackett was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 21 of the Louisville, Kentucky City Council.

The city of Louisville, Kentucky held elections for mayor and city council on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. In the Democratic primary for District 21, Incumbent Dan Johnson defeated Erich V. Shumake and Michael Tackett.[1][2][3] Johnson defeated John A. Witt (I) in the general election.[4]
