Michael Ventura Garcia is the judge for the Jim Wells County Court at Law in Texas. He was elected in 2014, effective January 1, 2015. He was re-elected in 2018.[1]

Garcia was the first judge of the county court at law, which was created through legislation in 2013.[2][3]

Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 61.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Yvonne Gonzlez Toureilles.
General: He won without opposition in the general election on November 4, 2014.[3][4][5]
