Michael Wagoner

Michael Wagoner is a judge for the 6th State Judicial District in Sebastian County, Arkansas.[1] He was elected to this position in May 2012 to replace the retired Judge Wayland Parker, II.[2]
Education
Wagoner received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas in 1996 and his J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville School of Law in 1999.[3]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Wagoner served as the Sebastian County deputy prosecutor. He joined the Sebastian County Prosecutor's Office in 1999.[3]

Incumbent Michael Wagoner ran unopposed in the general election for the Greenwood District seat on the 6th State Judicial District.

District courts in Arkansas are divided between local district courts and state district courts. Local district courts feature part-time judges, while state district courts feature full-time judges. Judges of the Arkansas District Courts are each elected to four-year terms. The elections for this court are nonpartisan contested elections. To serve on this court, a judge must be at least 26 years old, a registered voter of their district, and have at least three years of experience practicing law.[4]
