I support human rights and I'm running to do the state's business.
The state's business is passing laws that Missourians need in order to make our state economically competitive, protect individual human rights, protect our agriculture, provide education for all Missouri children, and ensure justice for all. A couple of things that aren't the state's business are a woman's right to control her own body, banning books, and interfering in personal choices that have nothing to do with the safety and security of our state.

Threatening to shut down libraries because they have books that someone doesn't like is not reasonable or a responsible use of government authority. Failing to pay our teachers adequately is a recipe for a poorly educated citizenry. Private schools should not be funded by the state especially at the expense of our public schools.

I oppose Project 2025, abortion bans, the defunding of our state's regulatory agencies, and the decline of corporate taxation. Our local farmers need to be protected from Wall St. corporate farms polluting at will.

I am running because the GOP cannot be given free rein due to uncontested seats. I am retired and I am standing up to totalitarianism, standing against government overreach into citizen's lives, and standing up for individual's rights.
  • Women's bodily autonomy rights need to be defended from anyone who believes that the government should be able to usurp decisions that are exclusively personal decisions.
  • Missouri's constitution is sacrosanct and shall not be used as a bludgeon to repress citizens. I propose the the Constitution of the State of Missouri can only be amended in November elections. I believe that attempts to alter something as inviolate as the governing document for our state during elections with lower voter turnout is cheating.
  • The right of workers to form unions needs to be enshrined in Missouri law.
Education, human rights, helping low-income citizens, and accountability from our governing officials are critical policy issues.
I look up to Franklin D. Roosevelt, Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio, Elad Gross and Crystal Quade of Missouri, and President Barrack Obama among many others
The television show "West Wing" and the movie "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" illustrate a philosophy similar to my political viewpoint.
-Ethical consideration of all legislation.

-Transparency of legislation including who supports it, why it is good for Missouri, who benefits from it, and who stand to profit from it.

-Willingness to listen to the desire of constituents.
I consider the value of any legislation that is put forward regardless of who sponsored it.
Take care of Missourians first. This starts with the individual. From there, protecting Missouri's ecology must be considered regarding any proposed legislation. It moves on to giving our agriculture, manufacturing, and business a chance to compete fairly.
He was an ethical representative.
When I was 11-year-old in 1973, I made sure to watch the Watergate Hearings. I was appalled to hear government leaders lying straight-faced to the American public.
I had two lawn-mowing contracts in the Summer between second and third grade. I mowed lawns through eighth grade.
My favorite book is "The Alice Network" by Kate Quinn. It's the story of a woman who took on an extraordinary responsibility that nearly destroyed her life. It takes place mostly in France during the second World War.
Captain Jean Luc Picard of the United Federation of Planets.
"Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" It kept popping up for days. I like the song, but since I don't know all of the lyrics, it got a little old real fast.
The ought to be working together to do the state's business and working toward the betterment of Missouri.
Say "knock, knock."
I am interested in the Fiscal Review Committee, Elementary and Secondary Education Committee, and Elections and Elected Officials Committee. I don't have faith that these committees are acting with absolute concern for all Missourians.
It is unconscionable to hide official finances and the purpose of any official governmental action. I support Attorney General candidate Elad Gross and his resolve to make Missouri's government transparent of accountable.
I support a change to the Constitutional amendment process such that it may only occur during November elections when the voter turn-out is historically higher than any other election during the year.
