Michael Weir, Jr.
Michael Weir, Jr. (b. September 2, 1948) is a former Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 6 from 2003 to 2015.
Weir's professional experience includes working as Fire Captain of the Baltimore County Fire Department and partner with Mike Weir and Sons Masonry. He served as a Master Sergeant in the Maryland Air National Guard.

Elections for the Maryland House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbent Mike Weir, Jr., Nicholas C. D'Adamo, Jr. and Jake Mohorovic defeated Steven Charles Brown, Jonathan Campbell, Ed Crizer, Marcus A. Foreman, Larry Harmel, Anna Pearce, Rick Roberts and Eric Washington in the Democratic primary, while Robin L. Grammer, Jr., Bob Long, and Ric Metzgar defeated Domenico "Dan" Liberatore, Carl H. Magee, Jr., Jerzy Samotyj, Gary Sparks, Mitchell J. Toland, Jr. and Roger Zajdel in the Republican primary. Grammer, Long and Metzgar defeated Weir, D'Adamo, and Mohorovic for three seats in the general election.[1][2][3]
2010
Weir successfully won re-election, coming in second in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]
2006
On November 7, 2006, Michael Weir, Jr. ran for District 6 of the Maryland House of Delegates, winning the third of three seats, losing to John Olszewski, Jr. and Joseph Minnick but beating Steve Dishon, Richard Metzgar, and Paul Blitz.[5]
