Michael Welborn
M.E. "Mike" Welborn was the judge of Texas District 36.[1] His last term would have expired in 2014. In January 2013, Governor Rick Perry appointed Welborn district attorney of the 36th District of Texas, which serves Aransas and San Patricio counties.[2][3]
2010 election
Welborn won the Democratic primary and was re-elected to the district court after running unopposed in the general election.[4]
