Michael Woodyard is a former candidate for the 3rd Circuit Court in Michigan.[1] Woodyard was defeated in the primary election on August 2, 2016. Woodyard ran for the 22nd Circuit Court in 2012 and 2014.[2]

Woodyard received a bachelor's degree in English from Eastern Michigan University in 1996. He earned his J.D. from Wayne State University in 2002.[3] Woodyard became an assistant prosecuting attorney in Wayne County after his graduation from law school in 2002.[4]

Primary: He was defeated in the primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 13.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Pat Conlin and Veronique Liem. [2][6]
