Candidate website
Wray's campaign website listed the following themes for the 2015 election:
“ |
Citing a decline in the student population since 2008, I am calling for the school board and county administration to work together to attract additional businesses to the area, in order to keep the student population and educational funding strong. Also, I support initiatives that enhance learning through innovative technologies. Jerry Canada is the only school board member out of five that will be returning to the Roanoke County School Board. This leaves a big void in experienced leadership. For these reasons, I feel that my experiences on educational boards will be an asset to the Roanoke County School Board. Roanoke County has been long known for its stellar school system, and if elected, I will work diligently to continue to move Roanoke County Schools forward. [8] |
