Michel Peter Florio
Michel Peter Florio is a former member of the California Public Utilities Commission, the state body charged with regulating the state's utility companies. Florio was appointed to the CPUC on January 25, 2011, by Gov. Jerry Brown. His term expired on January 1, 2017.[1][2]
Biography
Prior to this appointment, Florio had served as a senior attorney at The Utility Reform Network since 1978.[1] He also served on the board of governors of the California Independent System Operator from 1997 to 2005. Florio is a member of California Conference of Public Utility Counsel.
