Three of the five seats on the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education were up for at-large general election on November 8, 2016. Incumbents Michele Berke, Desrie Campbell, and Ann Crosbie all filed for re-election. They defeated candidates Dax Choksi and Hiu Ng to win additional terms on the board.[1][2]

Berke reported $19,686.51 in contributions and $16,542.59 in expenditures to the Alameda County Registrar of Voters, which left her campaign with $3,143.92 on hand in the election.[3]
