Michele C. Rini ran for election for judge of the Oregon 20th Judicial District Circuit Courts. Rini was on the ballot in the general election on November 8, 2022.
She was appointed to the court on September 21, 2021 by Kate Brown (D) to replace James L. Fun.[1]
Biography
Rinin received her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and her J.D. from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College. She began her legal career in private practice. Rini began serving as a part-time Pro Tem judge in Washington County in 2005 and was hired by the Washington County Court as a full time Juvenile Hearings Referee in 2006, where she has worked until her appointment.[1]
