Hello Neighbors!

I am running for Metro Nashville City Council District 29. I am not only going to ask you for your vote, but I am going to ask you to wok with me to make District 29 better for everyone, all our neighbors, by getting involved and working together. I have lived in Nashville since 1986. My son was born at Summit hospital in 2002. A short 5 years later, In 2007 we moved to Priest Lake Park. I remember the first time I visit this area in 1987. I was struck by the natural beauty of the area and impressed by the beautiful homes, close communities and welcome feeling shown by everyone. I hoped that some day I might be able to live in such a wonderful neighborhood. In 2007 that dream became a reality. A lot has happened over the years, both positive and negative. We have experienced explosive growth that has effected all of our city, but a lot of that growth has had a negative impact that we, as a community of neighbors who live, work and play in D29 now face. I have been involved in this community since the day I moved here. First as an active, involved neighbor who wanted to know what was going on, attending community meetings and volunteering my time and talents.

Today, our neighborhoods are facing some very serious challenges. You have told me, time and time again, our most pressing issues are crime and lack of strong leadership, among others like the explosive growth, homelessness, lack of affordable housing, infrastructure breakdown and just feeling like
Crime Prevention

Safety for Everyone, residents, businesses, and visitors.

Changing the culture and developing a group of neighbors working together to solve current challenges that have been neglected for far too long and address the future working together for all.
