Michelle Anderson was an at-large member of the Higley Unified School District in Arizona. She assumed office on January 1, 2021. She left office on January 1, 2025.
Anderson ran for election for an at-large seat of the Higley Unified School District in Arizona. She won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Biography
Anderson earned a bachelor's degree in biology education from New Mexico State University and became a high school math teacher at Chandler High School for three years. She then worked as the Higley Unified School District's substitute coordinator for nine years. In 2013, she quit her job with the school district to become a part-time database manager for her church, Rock Point Church.[1]
Anderson's family includes her husband and children.[1]

Two at-large seats were up for election in 2014. Incumbent Venessa Whitener ran for re-election. Fellow incumbent Kim Anderson did not file to run in the election. Greg Wojtovich, Michelle Anderson and Rebecca Jarman joined Whitener on the ballot.
Incumbent Whitener and newcomer Wojtovich won the general election.
