Michelle Jordan
Michelle Jordan was a judge of the Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois.[1] She was elected to the bench in 2004 and retired on January 1, 2016.[2]
Education
Jordan earned a B.A. from Loyola University, going on to receive her J.D. from the University of Michigan in 1977.[3]
Career
Prior to joining the court in 2004, Jordan worked as an assistant state's attorney. She has also served as a federal prosecutor for the Department of Justice and as chief of the Environmental Control Division in the Illinois Attorney General's Office.[3]
2010 retention

Jordan was retained in 2010, receiving 79.06 percent of the vote.[4][5]
Jordan was recommended for retention by the Judicial Performance Commission of Cook County.[6]
