Michelle Kim is a judge for Division 1 of the California 2nd District Court of Appeal. She assumed office on November 25, 2024. Her current term ends on January 4, 2027.

Kim won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California outright in the primary on March 3, 2020, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Kim was first appointed to Division 1 of the California Second District Court of Appeal on September 30, 2024 to replace Victoria Gerrard Chaney (nonpartisan). She was confirmed and sworn in on November 25, 2024.[1]
