Michelle McManus
Michelle A. McManus (b. October 5, 1966) was a Republican member of the Michigan State Senate, representing District 35 from 2003 to January 1, 2011, serving as Assistant Majority Leader. Due to Michigan term limits, Senator McManus did not run for re-election in the Michigan State Senate elections of 2010. [1]
On January 16, 2009, she announced her candidacy for the statewide office of secretary of state, the seat vacated by Terri Lynn Land, who was barred by state term limit laws from running for a third consecutive term in office.[2]
