Michelle Rehwinkel Vasilinda is a former Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 9 from 2008 to 2016.
Rehwinkel Vasilinda did not seek re-election to the Florida House of Representatives in 2016 because she wast term-limited.
Biography
Vasilinda's professional experience includes working as a DER Key Coordinator for the United Way Campaign from 1986 to 1988 and an educator at Tallahassee Community College.[1]

Vasilinda won election in the 2012 election for Florida House of Representatives District 9. Vasilinda ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012, and defeated Bradley Maxwell (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Vasilinda won election to the Florida House of Representatives from Florida's 9th District, defeating Peter Boulware (R) and John Shaw (NPA). Vasilinda received 41,362 votes in the election while Boulware received 40,932 votes, and Shaw received 2,808 votes.[8] Vasilinda raised $198,198 for her campaign; Boulware raised $566,388, and Shaw raised $2,585.[9]
