Michelle Schreiber
Michelle Schreiber is a judge for the New York City Housing Court of New York County, New York. She was appointed to this position in 1999 and was reappointed in 2004, 2009 and 2014. Her current term expires in 2019.[1]
Education
Schreiber received her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and her J.D. from the Cardozo School of Law.[1]
Career
Schreiber began her career in 1984, working for the New York Unified Court System. In 1986 and 1987, she served in the state's Department of Housing Preservation & Development. She then worked for MFY LEgal Services from 1987 to 1995 before returning to the New York Unified Court System in 1996. In 1999, she was appointed judge of the Housing Court.[1]
