I am a dedicated and passionate individual who is deeply committed to serving our community. As a Northwest ISD mom, I care deeply about the future of our children and the families in our district. I believe in responsible fiscal management and prioritizing academic excellence in schools. I have extensive experience in leadership roles both in the corporate world and within my community. Currently, I am Head of Architecture, Americas and sit on two boards within my company, one at the local level and the other at the global level. I'm also the president of Kai Ken Society of America, an organization dedicated to preserving the Japanese breed of dogs. Additionally, I participate in my homeowner's association board and serve on the PTA board of my child's school. I'm committed to ensuring that our schools prioritize academic excellence, offer a supportive learning environment, and provide the necessary resources to help all students succeed
  • Amplify Parental Involvement: Encourage and prioritize parent involvement in their children's education. This would involve creating opportunities for parents to be active participants in decision-making processes and ensuring that their voices are heard.
  • Uncompromising commitment to educational proficiency: Ensure that our schools are provided an education that fosters academic excellence, critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and creativity for all students.
  • Financial Accountability: Promote responsible expenditure and bond transparency, ensuring that the school district's budget and finances are transparent to the public. By doing so, we can build trust with the community and ensure that taxpayer dollars are being used effectively and efficiently.
As a believer in the importance of public policies, I understand their impact on shaping our society and the opportunities available to our citizens. One area that I am particularly passionate about is public education, recognizing that it is a critical factor in individual success and overall community prosperity. Addressing the challenges that our school district faces, such as projected growth and learning gaps, is my top priority, along with advocating for special needs students and investing in intervention programs. By improving public policies in these areas, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those in our community.
