Michiel Noe was a member of the El Paso City Council in Texas, representing District 5. Noe assumed office in 2011. Noe left office on January 1, 2019.
Noe (Democratic Party) ran in a special election to the Texas House of Representatives to represent District 79. Noe lost in the special general election on January 29, 2019.
Noe is a former member of the El Paso City Council in Texas, representing District 5.[1] He was first elected to the council in June 2011 and re-elected in 2015.[2]

The city of El Paso, Texas, held elections for mayor and city council on May 9, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 27, 2015. Five of the eight city council seats were up for election, including Districts 1, 5, 6 and 8. In District 5, incumbent Michiel Noe defeated Rosa Maria Cabrera.[3][4]
