Two Michigan Center School District Levy Measures were on the May 3, 2011 ballot in the Michigan Center school district area which is in Jackson County.
Both measures were approved
The first measure sought to increase the current levy on property taxes to a rate of 17.29 mills for a further three years in order to help pay for operational costs in the district.
The second measure sought to increase the current levy on property taxes by a rate of 1.70 mills for a further three years in order to help pay for operational costs in the district.[1]
