The Michigan Child Custody Initiative did not appear on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Michigan as an initiated state statute. The measure would have required the circuit court to award joint custody in a child custody dispute unless there was evidence of a parent's inability to parent.[1] The petition was filed by the Dads and Moms PAC and approved for circulation February 26, 2010.
According to reports, no initiatives met the May 26, 2010 petition drive deadline.[2]
