Faith is the foundation of our nation. Our rights are bestowed upon us by God not government. We have freedom OF religion. From Faith flows democracy, equality, and freedom. Church is essential to our American society. Spiritual revival is needed in our land.

Family is the primary unit of government in a free democracy. Family membership and right to life begins at conception and continues through natural death. The family needs to be built up and protected. We must guard marriage, fatherhood, motherhood, and children. We cannot accept a radical gender theory as normal. Education is best controlled by parents. Education is for training and is not a means for social engineering children with a radical social agenda, by re-writing history, or teaching Critical Race Theory as reality. We need educational choice in Michigan.

Freedom flows from faith. We need a limited government that seeks to protect us not control us. We need to remember that freedom was bought at great cost. We cannot keep on spending, printing money, and living on a fiat financial system. Freedom demands election integrity, i.e., safe and secure elections that are free from fraud. The preservation of freedom depends on a strong commitment to the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution. "When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns." As Jesus stated, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." (John 8:32)
I am Pro-Life and committed to taking Michigan's current laws and enhancing them by focusing on the personhood of the pre-born child. Life is sacred and must be protected. Being Pro-Life includes seeing people of all ages as equal and deserving of protection.

I stand for Educational Choice. Parents need to be the primary decision-makers regarding their children's education. We limit ourselves as a State if we focus on Public Education as the primary means of education. Education is not a means of social engineering but is a means of teaching and learning what is needed for the betterment of self and society.

I stand for government that is limited in scope and agree with Gerald Ford who said, "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is a government big enough to take away everything you have." Term limits must be maintained and other means of downsizing the current bureaucracy and regulatory mentality must be implemented.

Our freedoms (religion, speech, right to bear arms, etc.) are essential. Thus, I stand on the freedoms put forth in our founding documents. These documents flow from our faith and embody the foundation that we need as a State and nation.
Commitment to doing the job well

I was a farm hand for neighbors starting at age 10 through high school. I worked in the fields harvesting hay, plowing, cultivating, and doing whatever necessary. I milked cows, delivered calves and lambs, and handled tons of manure. I personally raised hundreds of rabbits. Most of my early college years were financed from savings during this time of my life.
Proverbs, this book provides wisdom and direction for daily living. I also rely heavily on the Psalms for direction and inspiration. My current practice is following the pattern of Billy Graham who read one chapter of Proverbs and five Psalms daily. I also appreciate many of the writings of C.S. Lewis, e.g., The Chronicles of Narnia and Mere Christianity.
Moving from a top-down to a bottom-up government mentality.

Fighting for right to life from conception to natural death.

Standing for educational choice directed by parents.
Not necessarily. Career politicians too often lose touch with the people that they were elected to serve.
Yes. It is very important to find people of like mind and level of commitment. Is there such a thing as a "Jesus Follower Caucus"?
