Education - Parents should be in control of their children’s education. The School Board members are elected officials who make money off taxpayer dollars. They should work for YOU. They should be transparent and held accountable to YOU. An educator’s job is to teach our children to think critically. Not to indoctrinate them with racist ideology.

Economy - We need to get people back to work. Governor Whitmer and the Democrats in the Michigan Legislature are responsible for destroying the economy and high unemployment.

Freedom - No issue is more important than our freedom. We have forgotten that the Government is accountable to US—We the People. No elected official, no matter their political persuasion, should have the amount of control Governor Whitmer had through the pandemic.

Cathryn has a heart for serving her community. She has been a mentor to teen-aged girls at Vista Maria in Dearborn Heights. She served on the Board of Directors of Elevate Detroit, a ministry dedicated to loving on the less fortunate in Detroit. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Triple A Crisis Pregnancy Center, which is devoted to helping pregnant women who are struggling. She served as a missionary in Bogota Colombia, helping a ministry devoted to combating human sex trafficking. Her company helps charities every year by holding collection drives to help those in need.
Politicians work for the interest of themselves and their political advancement. Statespersons work for the interest of the community they represent.
In 2020, Cathryn's business, like so many others, was devastated by Covid-19. Cathryn grew extremely frustrated by listening to story after story of struggling business owners and parents exasperated by confusing and sometimes seemingly illogical local and state mandates being imposed on their children. Everything that has happened since March of 2020 has inspired Cathryn to run to represent the people in her community. She trusts the people in her district to have the common sense, care and compassion to do what is right for their families and neighbors.
